Texas Messes (in a Good Way) with Marriages

The State of Texas launches a $16-million initiative to prevent divorce!

Starting September 1, 2008, engaged couples can get a discount on their wedding licenses by attending a free, eight-hour premarital class focusing on communication skills, conflict resolution, and the value of marriage. BTW, marriage license fees increase from $30 to $60 too.

Twogether in Texas runs the initiative and is working with twelve organizations across Texas to provide classes to couples anywhere and everywhere in the great big state.
